Okay, okay. So I suck at this whole blogging thing. I get the point. :o)
So in the last 5 month not much has been going on - believe it or not. In January my Grandpa passed away. It was really sad news and I will miss him tons. He was great - and he and Mike were good buds. The good thing that came out of such a sad event was that it got a bunch of the family together again. Brothers and sister, aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. I had such a great time being back in Riverside with everyone again. It had been way too long. The cousins have grown up and some have children of their own now. Can't wait until I get to see all of them again. Which may be sooner than later as my 10-year high school reunion is in Riverside this year. I can't believe it! 10 years!
Also in January, Mike and I celebrated our marriage with friends and family in Colorado. We had a small get-together at Fado's Irish Pub in downtown Denver (we were trying to keep with the whole theme thing - plus there is always good beer in an Irish pub). I will include some pictures of that and probably some wedding pics since I haven't done that yet.
In February I turned 28. Man I am old.
In March, my friends (and former co-workers) Johanna and Christy came to visit me. We drank, watched movies, hung with Jessica (another friend/former co-worker who now lives in CO with her man Seann), and hung for a little with the folks. We had good catching-up time. I miss them.
In April we spent every free moment working on the house. The joys of being homeowners. :o) Hopefully we will have floors and cupboards in the laundry room one day soon, but in the meantime it is nice to finally have some drywall up. And if we weren't spending so much time trying to get the yards up to snuff for the spring and summer months, we might actually have the drywall done. But that is life - too many projects, so little time.
In May... well that will just have to wait. I promise to be better about posting from now on.
